“Robin plays from an unabashed place," said David Smith, host of the Red River Ramble Bluegrass Show on North Dakota’s Prairie Public Radio.

"The Robin Davis Duo is melody driven, flat-pick guitar bluegrass with a force that turns your head towards observing carnage - paired with bass and vocals that conjure the emotions to stop and help at the accident scene,” said David Smith.
THE ROBIN DAVIS DUO, based in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, features Robin Davis on guitar, who Chris Eldridge of The Punch Brothers calls “the undiscovered champ of ballsy bluegrass guitar.”
Robin Davis is no stranger to the genre: in Broke Mountain Bluegrass Band, Davis plays alongside Anders Beck of Greensky Bluegrass, Travis Book of the Infamous Stringdusters, Jon Stickley of Jon Stickley Trio, and Andy Thorn of Leftover Salmon.
In the duo, Robin is joined by his wife, Jimi Giles Davis, who plays the upright bass.
The duo released their first self-titled album, The Robin Davis Duo, in 2015. They continue to play around Southwest Colorado.
