The Robin Davis Duo features multi-instrumentalist Robin Davis of Broke Mountain Bluegrass Band and his wife Jimi Davis.
In reverse-super-group Broke Mountain, Robin plays mandolin alongside Anders Beck of Greensky Bluegrass, Travis Book of The Infamous Stringdusters, Jon Stickley of Jon Stickley Trio, and Andy Thorn of Leftover Salmon.
In the Duo, Robin plays fiddle while Jimi plays claw hammer banjo. The pair from Pagosa Springs, Colorado blends old time bluegrass with their unique and relatable originals.
Their first, self-titled, studio album released in 2015 showcasing Robin on acoustic guitar and Jimi on upright bass. In 2022, the duo released their second album under the name Dreem Machine, a psychedelic grunge-grass trio alongside drummer Matt Cottle. Their third studio album releases in 2025 featuring their current fiddle/banjo instrumentation.

-Robin won the RockyGrass mandolin contest in 2003. That same year, he and his bandmates in Broke Mountain Bluegrass Band won the RockyGrass band contest.
-Robin and Jimi dated for one year before they started making music together.
-Robin taught Jimi how to play upright bass in 2012. Two weeks later, they played their first gig together in Silverton, Colorado.
